We happily distributed World’s Best Cat Litter to shelters in need! Thank you for the generous donation of 31 pallets of cat litter, roughly 62,000 pounds!
Grateful to Pet Food Experts for July Donation
Thank you to our friends at Pet Food Experts for their generous donation of over 28 pallets of cat and dog food — that’s 43,870 pounds or nearly 200,000 meals for rescue and shelter pets awaiting their forever homes!

We recently provided Deeby's Senior Chihuahua Rescue with two 300-pound boxes of Stella & Chewy's freeze-dried raw pork patties (broken pieces, which is honestly perfect for tiny seniors with few teeth or sore gums) and Instinct Raw Boost Puppy, which is already helping their underweight seniors and medical cases rebuild strength.
"Because we primarily take in medical cases, special-needs dogs, and seniors, our veterinary expenses are often significant. Thanks to Rescue Pack's tireless work and extraordinary food distribution generosity, we're able to direct more of our funds toward lifesaving medical care instead of worrying about overwhelming food costs. That is a gift beyond measure."

Huge Success in Oak Park! 🐶🐱
We are still smiling after hearing the results from Rescueber’s April pet food pantry! Because of the surplus supplies they picked up from our warehouse, they were able to feed almost 500 pets (498 to be exact!) in a single event.
Our mission at Rescue Pack is to connect rescued food to pets in need, and seeing it reach so many local families is exactly why we do what we do.

We had an incredible time at the Morton Arboretum last week for our very first Rescue Pack booth — and we’re so grateful to everyone who stopped by to learn more about our mission, take part in our giveaways, and try their luck at the Guess the Kibble Challenge.
Most importantly, we loved meeting all of YOU… and all of the adorable dogs who came out despite the rainy start to the day 💚🐶
Thank you for supporting our mission to fill bowls and save lives. Events like these help us continue getting pet food and supplies into the hands of rescues and families who need them most.

🐾 Meet Pila, a sweet girl who didn't even know what a toy was until she landed in foster care.
Because of where she came from, toys were a foreign concept. She was scared of them at first… until her foster brother showed her the pure joy of absolutely destroying one. Now? She's a toy-shredding machine, and she needs the tough stuff to keep up.
That's where our friends at BARK came in. Their recent toy donation went straight to Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue, who said it best: "These toys from BARK are so perfect!"

A miracle in the making. Meet Juliet ❤️ 🐾
About two months ago, our partners at Bonafied Resuce pulled a near-death girl from Humane Indiana. A GSD/Chow mix with a body score of ONE (the lowest possible). Her skin was destroyed. Her paws had been so neglected from confinement that the toes had actually rotted and fused together.
Today, Juliet has gained about 14 pounds. Fuzz is sprouting where bare skin used to be. Her paws are healing (and her rescuers joke she might just turn out to be a great swimmer).
Bonafied has been carefully feeding her with the Instinct Raw puppy food and Blue Buffalo provided through Rescue Pack. As her foster shared with us, "If we had to pay for great food, her vetting wouldn't have been something we could afford and she most likely would have been passed over at the shelter."
That's exactly why Rescue Pack exists. Premium food in the hands of small, grassroots, 100% volunteer rescues means dogs like Juliet get a real shot.
And Juliet? She is SO nice. She gravitates toward children with complete trust - her foster suspects kids may have snuck her food and kindness during her hardest days. She'll be ready for adoption in the coming months once she's a bit "meatier" and spayed.
We'll continue to share her journey while she heals and waits for her forever family. 💛
