Rescue Pack started with a simple goal: to tackle pet food insecurity throughout the Lake Michigan region—serving Illinois, Indiana, Southwest Michigan, and Wisconsin. By rescuing surplus pet food and supplies, we help feed shelter animals and support families who need a helping hand, all while keeping viable products out of landfills.
Every donation received helps us reduce shelter crowding, lower euthanasia rates, and keep beloved pets where they belong: at home. Our dedicated, largely volunteer workforce remains the heart of our organization today.
Our Mission
“We bridge the gap so rescues can spend their limited funds on adoptions, medical care, and saving lives instead of scrambling just to meet basic needs. We also help struggling families, through community pantries, from having to surrender beloved pets due to financial hardship. What began as a small effort to help a few rescues has grown into a full-scale program that serves hundreds of organizations every year.”
